One of the major issues that most women worry about is their deteriorating health these days. What is happening? In today’s world women live a very busy and hectic life that they do not realize having time for themselves.
Going all around the place shopping, working and doing all they can to run and maintain a household. They play a role of a mother and wife. Most women these days with so much stress have no time to think about their health of fitness. The answer to this is definitely not to starve or hitting the gym
Primarily, the most important thing for a woman to keep in mind is to maintain her health and have a fitness routine.
It is important for her to take time out to make a health and fitness program that will best suit her. The schedule should be made as such that it does not come into her other important duties, but at the same time it is most required to be a part of her routine since it is not only a form of recreation but a stress reliever.
The whole point of doing this is to make a person more relaxed. Therefore, if you are a woman and if you have not exercised in long, it is important to take it slow and not go in rigorously. When we mean exercise, it might just be doing your exercise by going for a fun walk with a friend or tagging your kids or family along. A lot of cities today have focused more on health and fitness and have paved paths in parks and have developed bike paths for individuals and communities in large to go out and keep fit.
A good exercise not only keeps you fit and healthy but also very active, and kicks the lethargic aspect out of your life. Go out and find a nice relaxing area like a beach or park where these walking paths have developed and you will know how refreshing it feels. You will hence realize that you have gained a lot of energy just by walking. There are many more outdoor fitness activities that you would like to indulge. In addition to this, with good exercise and a healthy diet you will realize the change it has made to your health and body resulting in less stress and relaxation.
If you are a woman who has been going through fitness and exercise routine then keep it up! Remember that is very important for a woman to take out time and invest in her health because over years her body goes through many changes.
Following are a few exercises that might keep a woman healthy
1) Swimming: It helps reduce the fat and tones her body down
2) Yoga: The health benefits one attains from yoga and beyond count.
3) Outdoor Activity: It is also good to take up a sport and play it regularly
A woman needs to keep her physical and mental health in check at all times.

Many cutters suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder which is a disorder of the “I.” People with this disorder think in black-and-white references. They always believe that the object of their affection doesn’t prove his/her/their love to him or her sufficiently. They are always in conflict with others over attention, caring and love. Their behavior usually gets the opposite result of what they want. Cutting is a way of accomplishing all the goals stated by the previous writer and I.
Others cut as well: Abused people — especially females. Males tend to find other ways of getting physically hurt like fighting against people who will win and not caring about getting battered.
“Cutting” is a broad realm of behaviors that includes burning and compression injuries such as slamming doors on fingers.
Self-harm (SH) is deliberate injury inflicted by a person upon his or her own body, Self-harm is also known as self-injury (SI), self-inflicted violence (SIV), self-injurious behavior (SIB), and self-mutilation. This injury may be aimed at relieving otherwise unbearable emotions, sensations of unreality and numbness, or for other reasons. Self-harm is generally a social taboo. It is listed in the DSM-IV as a symptom of Borderline Personality Disorder and is sometimes associated with mental illness, with a history of trauma and abuse, with eating disorders, or with mental traits such as perfectionism. There is a positive statistical correlation between self-harm and emotional abuse and also term par suicide is sometimes used interchangeably with self-harm, some examples of self harm are
Punching, hitting and scratching
Self biting: hands, limbs, tongue, lip
Picking: wounds, ulceration or sutures
Burning: cigarette burns
Insertion damage: wire, pins, nails, pens.
Ingestion damage: swallowing corrosive chemicals, batteries, pins etc.
Some people also report self-poisoning as a form of repetitive self-harm with no suicidal intensions.
Risk factors
Key issues are depression, phobias, conduct disorders, Substance abuse is also considered a risk factor as are some personal characteristics such as poor problem resolution skills, Impulsivity, hopelessness and aggression. Breastmilk is Still Best for Babies

Your child is exposed to disease-causing germs every day. But it does not necessarily mean that your child will automatically get sick due to exposure to the elements and germs. Our bodies have this complex immune system that serves as a natural defense mechanism against viruses, bacteria, and fungi that can cause infection and diseases.
However, the immune system of infants is not yet fully developed and may not have the full complement of immune responses. Breast milk remains the best source of nutrition for the optimal growth and development of infants especially during the first year of life. It naturally contains a lot of nutrients and immunological benefits that help infants to develop a strong immune system, protect them from infections and diseases, and boost their immune responses in the presence of an infection or disease.
Among the micro-nutrients, the following nutrients are scientifically recognized to have a significant and important influence on the immune responses:
1. nucleotides
2. the anti-oxidants
a. beta-carotene
b. vitamin A
c. vitamin C
d. vitamin E
7. minerals
a. Selenium
b. Zinc
Nucleotides help increase the production of lymphocytes, which are activated in response to the invasion of foreign substances in the body thus boosting the body’s defense. They also optimize the metabolic function of immune cells, with the effect of further increasing immune responses.
Anti-oxidants and minerals control the potentially harmful activities of highly reactive molecules called free radicals. Free radicals are linked to damage to cell membranes, enzymes and DNA. Anti-oxidants are also responsible for promoting production of immune cells, stimulating their responses and speeding up their reactions. All of which result in increased resistance against diseases and infections.
A diet sufficient with immunonutrients will protect infants by warding off diseases and infections. During episodes of infection, these immunonutrients can significantly improve immune responses resulting into faster recoveries.
Over all, immunonutrients may help to create, increase and sustain periods of unrestricted growth and development in infants. Therefore optimal nutrition, particularly one that provides an adequate supply of immunonutrients, is essential in developing, maintaining and boosting an infant’s immune system.
Breast milk contains the immunonutrients babies need. In the event that breastfeeding is not possible, a scientifically formulate milk supplement with Nucleotides and antioxidants beta-carotene, vitamins a, c and e, and the minerals selenium and zinc, is a good substitute.
Parents can ensure that their babies are given the best level of protection against illnesses, to enable them to grow into young champions by reaching their maximum growth and development potential early in life. Proper nutrition and immunonutrients play a vital role in the shield of protection.

Diabetes is a serious disease that can cause several complications. The symptoms of diabetics include excessive thirst, excessive urination, extreme hunger, unusual weight loss, extreme fatigue, irritability, nausea, vomiting and sweet smelling breath
Diabetics are not an infectious disease that spreads from one person to another. However, a cure for diabetics has not been found either, meaning it is a lifelong condition. The best hope for a diabetic patient is to control the condition through diet restrictions.
In many cases diabetics is a hereditary condition, and therefore nothing much can be done to prevent it from coming to pass. However often people will be at a pre-diabetic stage before developing full diabetics, and caution at this time can greatly reduce the ill effects of diabetics and prevent its severity. The controls include changing one’s lifestyle and nutritional choices.
One of the primary causes of diabetics is leading a sedentary lifestyle wherein not much glucose is burned by the body, causing it to accumulate and lead to blood sugar. Over time, this causes the body to become less sensitive to glucose, leading to diabetes. Thus physical activity is a key component in the steps to mitigate diabetics.
Exercises combined with healthy eating incorporating less refined foods, less calories, and more fresh fruits and vegetables helps mitigate the effects of diabetics in a big way.

Creating a healthy lifestyle does not entail drastic changes or a schedule full of exercise and dieting. Such cosmetic changes would be artificial and bound to fail. The key to success is rather making small changes in the normal daily routine, and continue to increase making such small changes until one reaches the optimal stage of wellness.
The key to attaining a healthy lifestyle is gradual increasing in doing the right things and a gradual decrease in the wrong things one does until one eliminates such bad habits completely. This entails, for instance, walking a little more than usual, adding fruits to your cereal, adopting low fat substitutes in the diet, having an extra glass of water, smoking lesser and lesser until one gives up the habits, and so on.
Even small changes brings forth rewards. Research indicates that even a 10 percent reduction in weight help in reduction of blood pressure and cholesterol, and increase longevity.
A healthy lifestyle preempts diseases and other disorders.

The importance of touch in healthy relationships

Remember that it’s imperative to keep touching your partner from time to time in both sexual and non-sexual way. This may certainly need little efforts on your part as touching doesn’t come all that naturally to us. We have to first break through the inhibitions that stop us from reaching out physically, and then learn to make the full use of touch therapy. There are more nerve-endings in your finger tips than you might be aware of. Make full use of them. Remember that an affectionate person gets more out of a relationship than one who shuns physical contact.
Cuddle each other with sweet nothings, touching your partner often in non-sexual way and see how things change up in your love life without much efforts on your part.
Holding hands while comforting at home or watching TV can be very much therapeutic. You can convey so much from this gesture like ‘we are so much lucky to have each other’.
