Rhinoplasty Procedure and Health Complications

First of all let me explain what a rhinoplasty procedure is. It is a surgical procedure used to correct the shape of a nose with the goal of improving its look. Rhinoplasty has nothing to do with deviated septum surgery which is done strictly for clearing breathing paths of the nasal area.
I am not sure that people who decide to undergo this surgery are aware of how dangerous it actually is. During rhinoplasty procedure, like any other, a lot of complications can occur. And I bet that neither of us wants to end up with lifelong consequences just because we wanted to improve the look of our nose.
Choosing a surgeon to perform a rhinoplasty procedure on us is very important, or better yet to say crucial. The reason for this is because rhinoplasty procedure besides being technical medical procedure also involves sculpting of the nose. If we let some inexperienced surgeon, who has less than 10 surgeries under his belt, operate on us we are risking the results we surely won’t like.
So, take your time before deciding to go under the knife and research about it because it may save you a lot of time, money and what is the most important of all, health.
Male Rhinoplasty - Is the Surgery Healthy Way to Go?

Recently somebody asked me what I think about cosmetic surgery; specifically about male rhinoplasty since the person who asked me was a man. For the people who do not know what a male rhinoplasty is, it is a nose operation performed on men, with the goal of improving imperfections from aesthetic point of view.
Generally, I do not agree with plastic surgery at all and I find it absolutely unnecessary. First of all, if you are doing it to improve your self esteem I must tell you that there are other much better and reliable ways of doing that. Surgery does not have to be the only choice for you. Second, there are certain health risks associated with such kind of procedures. People who are interested in undergoing this kind of surgery should be informed of such possible dangers. Rhinoplasty recovery lasts for months and it is no always successful and painless.
Therefore I am raising the question about whether male rhinoplasty can be considered safe at all. On the other hand there are always cases of people who took the rhinoplasty procedure and returned with excellent results and had extremely quick recovery. If you think that male rhinoplasty can be a healthy step for you than by all means don’t hesitate to do it, but at least learn more about this procedure.
Best Sources of Protein for Vegetarian and Vegan Diet

Since you are reading this you probably need some information on what are the best sources of protein. Well, firstly it will largely depend on your nutrition. For example, if you are a vegetarian or a vegan (strict vegetarian) you cannot eat animal derived products so you will need to find a good vegetarian protein or vegan protein.
In general the best sources of protein are definitely animal derived foods. In this group you can find meat, chicken, turkey, veal, pork, lamb, eggs and dairy (milk, cheese, and yogurt). But if you are inclined to more strict diet which prohibits these foods than you can turn to other good sources of complete protein like soy, nuts (pistachio, walnuts, almonds, etc), seeds (flax, sesame, pumpkin, etc), grains (brown rice, oats, wheat, bread, etc) and other quality vegetarian protein sources (plant derived foods).
There were a lot of talk about plant foods and how they contain only incomplete proteins, which do not have all the essential amino acids and therefore should be considered not as good for your body as foods with complete proteins. Later studies have shown that plant foods are equally as good, even for people engaged in intensive physical activity.
How Much Protein Per Day Should You Eat?

Answer to the question of how much protein per day should you eat largely depends on two factors. First and most important factor is the activity that you do. If you are just a regular couch potato who is not wasting any calories, in other words, you do not work out than you will need to consume a lot less protein than some person who is regular in sports, not to talk about someone who is training professionally. How much protein per day is needed also depends on how many grams of carbohydrates and fats are you eating per day. It is also important whether you want to lose weight or gain weight.
In a nutshell, for inactive people recommended grams of protein per day is around 1 per kg of body weight. If you are working you may increase protein intake to up to 2 grams per day per kg of body weight but there is absolutely no need to go overboard and waste unnecessary money on more protein than that. There are multiple studies that show that 2 g / day is not much and it won’t cause any liver or kidney failure like many suggest. So you don’t have to worry about that.

Leg Workout Will Make Your Life Longer

Did you know that leg workout can make your life longer? How exactly can that be true, you might say? Well, like this: one of the lower body muscles, specifically calf is considered a secondary heart muscle. Let me explain why. We know that heart itself has its own beat (pace) which control the pulsation of the blood stream. But when we walk, one particular muscle of the calf is contracting and stimulating the return of the blood from the lower end of the bloodstream up into the heart. This way leg workout can really be a big help for a healthy heart and thus longer life. There are numerous leg exercises that you can perform and they don’t necessarily have to be just for the calves. A few prominent leg exercises that you can perform include fast walking, running, standing and seated toe raises. So don’t be lazy, make quality leg workout a part of your daily routine.
Squat Racks For Reliable Leg Workout

Strong legs are foundation of a strong body. Neglect your leg workout and you’ll see what I am talking about. Before anything else, weight lifting experts recommend the squat as one of the most important leg exercises for your routine. But, to increase safety while performing, it is recommended to use squat racks. For example, if for some reason, your legs go mellow on you during leg exercise, construction of the rack can take the hit and thus prevent a serious injury.
But some may ask, why a squat rack, why not a power rack or some of the various squat stands? Well, truth to be told, there is no significant difference amongst them in regards to working out, but squat racks are usually cheap and very common pieces of equipment in every gym, and are my preferred choice. I never do my squats without squat racks. I hope this tips helped you a bit.
Health or Show-Off?

Can your health benefit from Powerlifting, or this strength sport has some other benefits? Although it raises blood pressure somewhat it is still considered healthy because it strengthens the heart and body muscles. If we think we can enjoy Powerlifting, the gym is waiting for us; but if we don’t, then maybe yoga can be a good solution instead, or maybe not. “How much do you bench?” is the most common question asked in the gym. Usually people whose workout doesn’t include legs like to show-off with their impressive bench press. There are two more disciplines to show somebody’s strength, squat and deadlift. Have you ever been tired or looked funny flexing your thin muscles in front of the mirror? Six packs looks good, but there was just one and only Bruce Lee. Thick bicep veins are fine too, but how much are we really strong? Bench press, squat and deadlift can show us exactly that.
Camping Troubles - Water Bacteria

Without the water a person can endure much less than without the food, that is why you should carry as much water as you can when going on camping or similar wilderness voyages. Also every time prepare yourself and ask around where you can find water locally. Drinking rain water is OK if you are in an emergency, but drinking water from the streams, lakes or even worse, ponds is just irresponsible, because you can get really sick from bacteria in it. Boiling is the best cleaning process for the water. After boiling the water for 20 minutes all bacteria will be dead. You should also carry water purification tablets with you, because they are easy and convenient way of purifying water from bacteria (but not as good as boiling). Water purification tablets clean the most bacteria but not those persistent ones, but don’t worry because they are rarely to be found in the water, unless you are that “lucky”.
Importance of Weight Training for Fat Loss

This article will help all those who just hate to do cardio training and everything that is associated with it. Did you know that with weight training alone you can reduce your body fat and thus drop those additional pounds that you always wanted to get rid off? You don’t have to do endless hours of sweating on a treadmill or stationary bike in order to burn body fat. Go to the gym and engage in weight training, make an effort to lift mostly free weights instead of exercises done on machine or a cable. How this works? Cardio burns fat in the actual moment when you are doing it. Weights burn almost the same amount of fat like cardio but just after the training. Then the body uses stored calories to recuperate muscles from the workout. One additional thing, since the body spends those stored calories, try to lower your food intake by little to prevent the body to use calories from the food intake. As you see, weight training can be easier than doing annoying cardio training. So, don’t be lazy and sit at home when you have all these alternatives for burning that extra luggage that you’re carrying around with you.
