Although the explode advance of modern medication and surgery technology had improved a lot in the recent years; and the early advise of healthy eating and nutritional advises from our family doctors, we still have to learn to take care of ourselves better. Especially the aging people, like people past the 55 marks. We knew for the fact when people are aging, their body immune system won’t be as strong as before, and they should avoid any risk to break it down.

Avoid eating too much meat, and try to take more green food on your daily consumption. For instance, my uncle is closed to 60 years of his age, and he is a meat lover. He likes steak, and he likes chicken wings etc……. Lately, he’ve gotten his family doctor advises that he should cut back on those meat eating, because it might increase the chance of high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. Now, he is more focus on eating on vegetables more than meat. I am trying to say totally avoid the meat, but consume it less than you usually do.

Do not eat too much at dinner time, because you usually exercise less when it is close to bedtime. Eating too much before you go to bed increase a chance of fat stomach. You might also want to take it into consideration.

Exercise more often. Aging people should take a regular exercise, like walking around the neighborhood, for fresh air in the morning. Or they can go to the park, and hike as much as they can in a week. Those exercise really help stretch their muscles and bones, and increasing a healthy living.

How many people actually thought about how much is really necessary for their retired age, once they no longer to work, and no longer to depend on other source of income. The only thing we can depends on is your saving account, and how much you have accumulated over the years of your working age. That is a tough task, but we have to understand, without better preparation, we might end up something that is so devastated. According to statistics, many people don’t really know how much they should save for their retirement. And that seems like a puzzle for them to figure out.

While we are employed full - time, we should start prepare our retirement fund for the future. We have to at least contribute 10% of our wage to 401k, that is at least a viable way for your future retirement. Also, if you have raise on every year, try to save 20% or 15% to your saving account. Keep it steady, and do not spend any of them unless you have to. That will be depend on how urgent the situation gonna be.

Your lifestyle is another consideration. How do you live currently, can you keep it living like that while you are no longer working, or you don’t have your source of income to support you? You might have to thought about changing your lifestyle if you are living extravagantly right now.

Also, in the future, our government social security program will be empty, or not enough to help our retired aged people for their living. We can only depends on our savings and 401k. I hope that everyone can live a healthy lifestyle, and everyone can find a way to save more for their retirement.

As a person, we all need friends to be around. When we are lonely, we can call up a friend to chat, or hangout in some places. When we have problem in a relationship, or work, or other aspect of our lives; we can have a friend to listen to our whining, and our complaining. When we need advise, a good friend should be around, and giving you the best advise you can ever get. So, friendship is important for each one of us; and it also help our mental health.

Without friends, we couldn’t be happy. We can only do things alone; play alone; and eat alone. This might create a huge mental problem gradually. We are not loner as part of our nature. We built to make friends with smiling face. We live to communicate with people we have common with. Why not let yourself go out there, and meet some good friends. No matter what culture you come from, people can still be good friends. It is part of our mental health. To meet new people, and make friends the same time.

In the past, when we don’t have much luxury, such as HD television, Playstation, PC computer available at home. We use to enjoy the outdoor activities. Baseball, basketball, football, as American pastime. Those sports are required people playing outdoor instead of indoor. Nowadays, game console can emulate anything from sports to other activities. Basically, all you have to do just sit on your sofa, or stay inside of your house all the time, enjoy playing in front of your computer, or sipping soda or eating hamburgers. As for our children, they became fat easily, and according to the statistics, the obesity rate of those children are increasing to 1 out of 3 American children have obesity problem.
As parents, we should guide our children to participate more outdoor activities instead of sitting in front of the television, or play station all the time. A healthy life might need to involve enjoying the nature, while keep your pants fit.

Going to gym, and exercise regularly is a good habit, we should keep it for it as long as we can. We all love to be have a great body, fitted health lifestyle, and fit body to be proud of. Now, the phenomenon has changed ever since the bad economy hits the recessed points. We all have to consider the costs and other factors associated with it.

With many people become unemployed, less and less people can enjoy the luxury of gym going. They might have to find an alternative way to keep their bodies fit at the moment. Instead of paying $30 a month to the gym, some people even consider exercise at home. Some people just want to keep their monthly costs low, so they can purchase exercise equipment at home. So, work out maniac simply buy those used equipment to work out their exercise routine at home. That can be save money too.

Some personal advise, if you are a long time member to your gym, why not negotiate the monthly membership for a lower price. It is your advantage, and you can take it.
Never pay for contract, or annual fee upfront for a gym. If the gym busted, and so does your payment too. Pay for it monthly, or quarterly can be wise.

We are human beings; human beings have characters of to be in anger. Anger can be caused by variety of sources, such as family, friends, work relationship with your co - workers, and many many more to be considered. Those can be all sources to trigger your internal anger.

To be angry all the time is not a healthy living style. You should try to forgive in some way, and relieve yourself from all the anger you held inside yourself. Why not try to keep yourself happy this way. Anger also meant not happy. It is really painful if you can consider it this way. Because you can’t be happy, or laugh out loud if you keep yourself frowning. For instance, today I was angry with my co - worker, because kept on mumbling, while he misunderstood what our supervisor wanted us to do. For while, I consider it, if I kept on this way, I would never see the “sunshine”. Why not just forget about it. At the way, I can relieve myself a little.

So, for general advise, do not keep yourself in angry position all the time. Try to make yourself laugh.

We all need plenty of time to get rest. From experts advised, people should have at least 8 hours rest in sleep. While not many people follow this advises. Due to many reasons; such as workload, and studying. Those are excusable reasons to believe. For other people, because of bad habits. For instance, my friends love to play video games, he might stay up late, and get 2 or 3 hours sleep at night. He have to get up early in the morning to work. Another friend of mine, who loves to party, he might stay up late too.

Some people might reverse their sleeping hours. A co - worker of mine told me that her son usually go to bed while she ready to go to work. That is definitely not healthy. We should maintain our schedule on sleeping. For example, if you have to get up early in the morning, you might want to go to bed around 9:00 P.M. or a little bit after. We all want to be refresh in the morning, not a sleepy head, don’t we? Lack of sleep, might also affect our work performance.

Have you ever thought about eat out less? Because the restaurant we used to go to, they rarely provide nutrient food. We might not have all the healthy food we needed. In comparison at home, our parents might consider our health, and will provide us with healthy meals. You might consider reduce the rate to going out to order food or dine out. Although those food are tempting, and tasty. You can dine out once a week or twice a week.
Especially those fast food joint such as McDonald, Burger King or KFC, etc……… Their food is oily and fat concentrated. You can grab a quick bite during your lunch time, but not everyday basis. Sometimes, those low - nutrient food can easily make you fatigue. Because your body lack of those nutrition you need. No matter morning, lunch, or dinner, you must eat healthy, and eat less those low - cholesterol and low nutrient food from outside.
