Treat Post Traumatic Stress Attacks with a Soothing Herbal Tea

Post traumatic stress disorder is a condition I suffer from. A condition that causes flash backs of bad memories, anxiety and panic attacks, deep depression and sadness and a sense of being lost. The only way that helps me relieve my post traumatic stress attacks that affect me mainly at nighttime is a homemade herbal tea made with green tea, orange peel, jasmine, eleuthero root, passionflower and honey. These herbs condition sedative properties and adaptogens, which help me, cope with my disorder naturally and easily. The herbs are very calming when blended together to create a soothing herbal tea, but I should warn you they can make you drowsy, but will relieve post traumatic stress attacks beautifully.

The way to make the herbal tea is to place a teaspoon of each herb I just mentioned into a tea steeper ball, but make sure they are freshly dried herbs from the herbal store or garden. Next, place the tea steeper ball into a saucepan with four cups of fresh water. After, turn the stove on medium heat and allow the tea to brew up to a rich golden color, which takes about ten to fifteen minutes. Then, turn the stove off, remove the tea from the stove and stir in about a forth cup of honey to help sweeten it up and make it more enjoyable to drink. Drinking this tea without honey will leave the tea tasting bitter. Once you add the honey to the tea, scoop yourself out a couple cups and sip on the tea to help relieve your post traumatic stress disorder attacks naturally, safely and affectively.

However, those of you who are allergic to any of the herbs in this herbal tea should not use it to relieve post traumatic stress disorder without talking to an herbalist or doctor first. Also, make sure you are doing calming activities after drinking this tea because again, it can make you drowsy, but again it will make you feel better.

This is a simple exercise that will gently stretch and ease those tight and sore back muscles. Always make sure that your movements are slow and easy, with no bouncing or swaying. To accomplish this exercise, Lie on your back, with your knees bent, feet flat on the floor, grasp your knees with your hands and slowly pull your knees toward your chest, while at the same time bending your head forward. Hold this position for thirty to forty seconds.

Chiropractors also instruct their patients in proper ergonomics such as good posture and lifting habits to prevent and help problems from occurring. An example of this might include how to sit at the computer properly without slouching and proper use of the keyboard.
