Irritated red skin due to sunburn is horrible. The skin burns, than peels, sometimes even itches, and leaves the skin blotchy colored. However, there is away to treat and soothe sunburns away naturally so they do not burn, peel, itch or leave the skin looking blotchy. That way is soaking in an aloe vera bath.
To make an aloe vera bath simply fill up a bathtub with plenty of warm water, pour in one liter of aloe vera juice and one packet of oatmeal bath. The aloe vera juice will help nourish, heal, soften and soothe the sunburned skin naturally while the oatmeal will relieve any itching and dryness naturally.
Once the aloe vera bath is made, simply get into it carefully and relax for as long as you possibly can. The best amount of time I find to soak in an aloe vera bath to relieve and treat a sunburn is about 45 minutes to an hour, but if you only have 30 minutes that is okay too.
After the bath, your skin will feel so much better, but it still best to apply an aloe vera lotion or gel after the bath to help soothe and protect the skin from further damage and irritation.
