Insomnia is a condition I suffer from, but one remedy I have been using to help me sleep is a fresh strawberry slushy. That is right a fresh strawberry slushy. I know it sounds strange, but strawberries contain a natural chemical in them that acts as a natural sedative to help calm the mind and body right down for a good long peaceful night sleep to help you be well rested in the morning.
The way I like to make my fresh strawberry slushy is by placing two cups of ice into a blender with two cups of fresh sliced strawberries and a cup of organic strawberry juice. Once all the ingredients are in the blender I blend the ingredients together for about a minute until I get a deep pinkish red strawberry slushy. Then I pour the slushy into a large glass and drink it down while relaxing in a quiet room.
