When I am craving something sweet, yet healthy and nourishing to the body I like to make my coconut almond cocoa shake because it provides antioxidants, protein, vitamins, minerals and fiber that can nourish the body properly.
The way I make my coconut almond cocoa shake is by placing two cups of cold coconut milk into the blender with a forth cup of raw sliced almonds, two heaping tablespoons of organic cocoa powder, a cup of coconut chocolate ice cream and two heaping tablespoons of dark chocolate chips. Then I blend the ingredients together until I get a coconut almond cocoa shake that is sweet, delightful and nourishing without being fattening and unhealthy to the body.
My favorite times to make this shake are for breakfast, for snack and dessert when I am craving something sweet and chocolaty because it helps keep me away from unhealthy breakfast bars, candy bars, heavy ice cream, unhealthy milk shakes and other junk food like sweets.
