Importance of Body Fat Measurement

Body fat measurement nowadays are being taken for granted by most people especially the working class people. If not too busy or they don’t think it’s that important. But is it that important that every people should measure their respective body fat? Yes it is very important to measure body fat. It is commonly use to assess health risks from being overweight. Measuring body fat is easy, calculating body fat is commonly done by calculating Body mass index or BMI it is a person height against weight ratio. It is also use to avoid obesity. Measuring of body fat also help in sports activity it tunes the body of whatever sports you are handling. Like for example if your sports are football, it is an advantage to put up a little excess fat on the upper body but maintain muscles and fitness in the legs. If your sport is basketball and you play shooting guard it is best to minimize body fat to increase your quickness and stamina for the game. People tend to think measurement of body fat is just a way for people to see if they look good. But the most important use of measuring of body fat is for health reason.
