Acne, or red ugly swollen bumps is something that almost all people, irrespective of race, gender or location encounter at some point of their life. Only the degree of acnes vary, some people might have their bodies filled with acne, while others might just have a few acnes on the faces.

If your body or face is infested with acne’s the correct approach is to rush to the nearest qualified medical practitioner. However, a few acnes here and there can be removed through home therapy. It is essential to wash the affected portion with a mild and unperfumed facial cleanser twice a day. One washed, the face should be patted dry and not rubbed dry. Following this, a small portion of benzoyl peroxide dabbed on the affected areas and retained there for 15 minutes before applying moisturizer should do the trick to remove acnes. The benzol peroxide should not be washed away.

One important consideration to prevent the spread of acnes is not to squeeze and burst the acne, even though many might find this tempting and even pleasurable. Similarly, the acne should not be touched directly with the hand.
