feeling tired and stressed out? need recharging? want to relax? or just needing to have a break from all of the metro mumbo jumbo? go to a place where nature is at its best.  a scenic drive to the country side perhaps. a simple walk in the beach. a  lungful of fresh air on a mountain park. and what a better way to complete your break? nature fresh foods!  a newly caught fish in the sea. the freshly picked fruits and salad veggies. now that the perfect way to compliment your short but healthy break.  so stay strong and healthy. love nature.

Beef Stroganoff

I really like Beef Stroganoff. I came up with this recipe that is really easy and tastes great. First you want to boil some noodles. Feel free to use any kind of noodle you want from elbow to egg. Whatever is fine, just make sure that they do not get mushy. Once you have drained the noodles very well, add a can of cream of mushroom soup. You could add cream of chicken instead if you please but I think it tastes better with mushroom. I then add between half a cup to a cup of sour cream (usually light) and a can of drained mushrooms. Then add a pound of ground beef that has been cooked and drained. Mix that together and then add a can of corn that has been drained as well. Cook until it is heated through and then serve with some crusty French Bread and a lettuce salad.

Round Steak

I like to buy round steak because it is usually one of the cheaper steaks. But I find it to be so tough some times that even if I get it tenderized it is still tough. So the other night when I was at my sisters house, there was a great aroma coming from the kitchen. She said she had some round steak in the crock pot. She took the round steak and added some cream of mushroom soup to it.I decided to try this the next night. I took a whole round steak and cut it into about 6 pieces. I placed in it the crock pot and added two cans of cream of mushroom soup. I let it cook on low for almost 12 hours while I was at work. When I got home I made some mashed potatoes and opened a can of corn. The mushroom soup mixed with the juices of the steak and made a really good gravy. THe meal was perfect. What a great way to make steak.

Spaghetti Spaghetti!!

My favorite meal growing up was spaghetti. To this day I love it. I just buy a can or jar of spaghetti sauce and then add my own special touches to it to make it taste better. I love adding mushrooms. I have used either canned mushrooms or once in a while I will buy the fresh ones. I also add about a tablespoon of butter to the sauce to make it a little richer. I do not care for tart things, so I add a small amount of white or brown sugar to take the tartness out as well. I may add some green peppers and onions to it as well.
In the summer I like to dice up some zucchini and add that to the sauce. This adds some really great flavor. I have tried adding black olives as well. This is a great way to sneak some extra veggies into your diet as well.

self control

i used to smoke  10 sticks a day. its tough to beat, but you will learn that there is no other way for us smokers but to quit. you have to make a choice. it is very clear to me that i dont want to die because of lung cancer or anything that can be associated with smoking. i dont want my family to suffer just because i cant quit smoking.

there are over the counter (otc) products in the market that can help you reduce the intake. there is one with a generic name nicotine. its a very simple way of providing a controlled dosage of nicotine until our bodies will make the adjustment. eventually you will loose the urge to smoke. its quite expensive though. but its worth a shot if you really want it. the question is, do you really want to quit?  yes? then act now. apply the same principle of the otc drugs. reduce your intake. regulate your smoking needs. i know its easier said than done, but i did it. i made myself stop the addiction. you can too. keep yourself busy. avoid being idle. divert the craving to smoke. take a gum instead. and you will be glad you stop smoking.

Importance of Weight Training for Fat Loss

This article will help all those who just hate to do cardio training and everything that is associated with it. Did you know that with weight training alone you can reduce your body fat and thus drop those additional pounds that you always wanted to get rid off? You don’t have to do endless hours of sweating on a treadmill or stationary bike in order to burn body fat. Go to the gym and engage in weight training, make an effort to lift mostly free weights instead of exercises done on machine or a cable. How this works? Cardio burns fat in the actual moment when you are doing it. Weights burn almost the same amount of fat like cardio but just after the training. Then the body uses stored calories to recuperate muscles from the workout. One additional thing, since the body spends those stored calories, try to lower your food intake by little to prevent the body to use calories from the food intake. As you see, weight training can be easier than doing annoying cardio training. So, don’t be lazy and sit at home when you have all these alternatives for burning that extra luggage that you’re carrying around with you.
