In my area, we’ve had a very cold winter. The cold outside temperatures and the dry indoor heat was causing my face to have very dry patches. The dry patches were so bad that the areas were wrinkling. I began to fear permanent deep wrinkles setting in.
I tried various creams and lotions and nothing was helping. If anything, my face became more irritated. Since the dry patches on my face started early in the winter season, I knew I needed to find something that would work. With a few months to go in the winter season, I was afraid I’d end up looking like Frankenstein or worse.
I use olive oil for cooking since it is a good fat and beneficial in many ways. Little did I know that olive oil would be the remedy I needed for the dry patches on my face. I rubbed a small amount on the dry patches and the next day I saw an improvement. Within three days the dry patches were no longer there.
I was ecstatic that the olive oil worked, but also impressed that it wasn’t gooey on my skin after it dried and it also did not irritate my face in any way. I’ve even been using a very small amount as a moisturizer under foundation. It seems to give my face a dewy glow without looking oily.
