In this day and age it is very easy to be caught up on the hustle and bustle of life.  Not being able to relax and staying in a stress mode on a constant basis will not only add additional health problems but will greatly affect a person’s way of life around others.

So spreading a peaceful approach to stressful situations by:

1. Stop procrastinating—Procrastinating adds to the stress, as there is always a rush at the end when the work could have been started ahead of time, thus having the ability to finish on time or even better to finish earlier than expected.  This can be done by planning ahead of time the few tasks to complete in order to assist you with achieving your goal on time.

2. Develop a hobby—Find a craft or an interest that captivates your attention.  This will help you to relax and keep your mind off of any issues occurring in your life.

3. Exercise—Exercising has been a long time known way of relaxing and releasing a hormone called endorphins that help to relax the body. Doing this for 20 minutes a day/ 3-4 times a week will not only assist the body through relaxation and will also keep the body healthy through rapid movement.

4. Meditation—Meditate or pray to help relax and focus on keeping the mind quiet,  control breathing and keeping your body still.  This can also be done at work for several minutes by closing your eyes, and breathing deeply.
5. Changing diet—A person can only survive on greasy foods, candy bars, doughnuts, and other junk foods for so long.  Instead of having that greasy burger for lunch, have a grilled chicken salad with baby spinach, romaine lettuce, and other vitamin packed salad greens.   This will help balance the body and provide more natural energy.
