Obesity Grows Out Of Control

It is now recorded in 31 states that adults are more overweight than ever. This can cause diabetes, stroke and cancer more than it would in adults who were the right weight for their height. While some restaurants and even fast food services are offering salads and more healthy foods it is ultimately up to the individual to eat healthy and exercise but most do not.
According to records adult obesity went from 15 percent in 1980 to 32 percent in 2004 and this number is only climbing. If you factor in how many children are dangerously overweight we begin to see a pattern. One that is very disturbing and not changing course.

Almonds

Oatmeal
“It doesn’t matter how you get your oats—those instant, just-add-water packets are just as good for you as traditional, slow-cooked versions.”
Fish
“Omega-3 fatty acids are widely considered to be the best of the “good” fats, and the best place to find them is in fish—especially fatty fishes like salmon, halibut and tuna.”
Red wine
“A glass of red wine, which contains flavanols, has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties that may help lower cholesterol and stave off heart disease.”
Soy
“A little can go a long way—aim for about 25 grams of soy protein a day.”
…and avoid these five:
Whole-milk dairy products
Try low-fat dairy options instead.
Processed meats

Fast-food fries
Tropical oils
Examples are palm kernel oil and coconut oil.
Baked goods

Which Has More Germs, Cell Phone or Toilet Seat?

By yuck factor alone most people would certainly agree that the toilet seat was dirtier but they would be wrong. It turns out that a cell phone has more germs than a toilet seat does. UK researchers found that a cell phone can have tens of thousands of germs on them and they say it’s because cell phones are kept warm from our breath, putting them in pockets, purses, bags and germs love to be kept warm where they can multiply.
One phone tested from a Good Morning America boom mic operator was the dirtiest phone probably on this planet with ten to 50 million bacteria and germs. Researchers have never seen the like before.
